The mood in downtown Guiones grew increasingly chaotic today as area residents and local business owners rushed to prepare for an oncoming Morphic Field event. Plywood sheets were going up on the windows at Surfing Nosara. A Pura Vida property management truck was being edged into place to protect the Pharmacy. The National Rental Car guy left in his position outside of Café de Paris just before noon, saying, “I have a family. I need to be near them.”
The Morphic Field event has been on the horizon for over a week now, with the first warnings appearing in the Casa Pacifico WhatsApp chat. Casa Pacifico, as our readers know, is the tribal headquarters and ceremonial ground of the Beautiful Nosara Fam, Guanacaste’s largest indigenous tribe. This particular Morphic Field Event – said the mysterious warning in the Pacifico chat – would be particularly powerful, because the Veil was at its Thinnest.
OG Nosarans – well accustomed to Morphic Field Events with Thin Veils – did not immediately take this warning seriously. But over the following days, the same Morphic Warning post appeared in multiple WhatsApp chats, eventually reaching the Nosara Buy and Sell group – sparking the widespread panic that is gripping the town today.
The warning in the chat is unambiguous. Ancestors, Soul Families, Galactic Friends, and Forces of the Universe are all expected in Nosara, putting intense pressure on the Thanksgiving rental market. Human and Spirit Worlds will be Bridged, All Traumas will be Released, and Group Constellations will Assemble into Higher Selves.
“Plywood,” said Dan, owner of Limo Dans. “It’s the only thing that can protect us from this shit. And the ferreteria is fucking sold out.”
Not all area businesses are reacting out of stored-up patterns of fear, however. Organico expects a busy weekend and has increased staffing at the food bar. Terratour has added extra shuttles to handle the influx of Ancestors and Soul Families. Local real estate agents say they won’t be in the water on Saturday morning, because lots move quickly when the Veil is at its Thinnest.
Some elevation into the Morphic Field is expected and probably unavoidable. Nosarans are being warned today that small children and animals should be kept indoors. The pickleball courts in Pelada will be closed. However, Taku will still be playing at at least three area locations, Chanchos will be serving their Family Chicken barbecue on Sunday, and all 27 breathwork sessions scheduled in Pelada are expected to proceed as planned.
