Alert K-Section residents were quick to take advantage of the situation yesterday when the price of avocados dipped briefly at beloved local market Organico. The reason for the price drop was unknown. Some speculated a mistake had been made on the sign. Others saw deeper forces at play, muttering about a certain area hotel and plans to develop the ranchland south of town. Our reporter was unable to verify these far-fetched claims or get these accusations on record.

Organico community liaison and guy-with-stop-sign Pedro Morales Guzmán pointed towards Bodhi Tree and said “It was crazy, man. Someone posted a screenshot in the K-Section chat and the next thing you know, there were all these ATV’s coming down the hill.”

The low price did not last long, as both the round shelf just past the poke bar and the lesser-known shelf under the bread display were quickly emptied. Longtime K-Section resident and sour-faced old surfer guy Kenny MacTavish was spotted with two crates of avocados strapped to his ATV.
